Friendly. No long waiting time. Very professional and helpful.

I recently returned to Rochester, NY and had a battery issue with my Starkey Hearing aide batteries and needed to find a a place that address this issue. So glad I found Ontario Hearing Center… everyone there was so professional and were able to send them in for battery replacements and get them back to me within a week. Great staff…. I am so glad I found them and will definitely be using them in the future!

Dr. McNamara is the best of the best! He is incredibly knowledgeable and a true expert of audiology. I could not trust my hearing needs to anyone more excellent than him. In addition, he has a delightful personality and takes whatever time you may need to answer all questions to make sure his clients understand the unique features of your hearing needs. His front desk secretary is always sweet and accommodating also.

Dr. John McNamara is the best. He is honest, patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. I never feel rushed.

I have worked with Andrea for six years and throughout that time I have become accustomed to exceptional patient care. Andrea has always provided me with all of the information I could want about the status of my hearing loss and my treatment options. I have very recently gotten new Oticon hearing aides and, in addition to the compassion, understanding and care I have always experienced- my new hearing aides have blown me out of the water. I sit here tonight looking at that water, with the chorus of birds serenading the sunset, and distant murmurs of dogs and families settling in for the night. The lake has settled yet I am able to hear its quiet lapping at the shore. With my first hearing aides I rediscovered bird song. With these new hearing aides the choral experience has a roundness and detail of sound that I barely remember. I, as always, look forward to my grandchildren's summer arrival from Chicago, and this year I knowingly anticipate that I will hear the fullness of their child voices with delight.

I have been using hearing aids for quite a few years, and Ontario Hearing is top notch in every way- Andrea has been wonderful in terms of her caring, knowledge, and service. If you think you have hearing issues, I would recommend this place as tops in all respects.

Dr. Andrea Segmond and the whole staff at Ontario hearing are Fantastic! They go above and beyond to ensure you are getting the best possible care for your situation. When I experienced a sudden profound hearing loss, Dr Segmond was the most empathic, caring, competent, professional that I encountered. Together we explored many treatment options and I always feel like she not only has my best interests at heart but cares about improving my quality of life as much as I do. The whole staff is always available in an emergency, and you are always treated with patience and kindness. I have referred many family and friends to Ontario hearing and will continue to do so.

Recently bought my second set of HAs from Dc. Mcnamara and his staff. Which really says it all! He and his staff, took the time to properly fit, explain, and immediately schedule a followup visit. Made sure that the HAs matched my hearing loss and just "took care" of me. Completely earn my 5 star rating, you can't do better! In fact, they now have their main office in SE Roch. , Monroe Ave., and another complete office in NW Rochester, Spencerport Rd.

I recently moved back to Rochester and began going to Ontario Hearing Center and was extremely impressed by their professionalism and knowledge in the audiology field. Their state of the art technology surpassed my previous audiologist's. It was so nice being able to talk and be heard by the doctors. I really felt like they cared. Great place! Kate Van Cura

Dr. Segmond and Dr. McNamara have gone above and beyond to deal with the manufacturer to address some unusual circumstances regarding my hearing aids. I have been seeing them for more than 10 years and have found them to be experts in their field. Their diagnostic equipment is second to none and I have recommended them to friends who have hearing issues.

I can't say enough about Dr. McNamara and the entire staff at Ontario hearing instruments. My grandfather had his hearing tested and was fitted with a new device, and he raved about his experience! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and his new hearing aid was much more comfortable than the old device. I would recommend Dr. McNamara to anyone concerned about their hearing loss.
